About Me
Hello, my name is Sarah Cooper and I live in Calne, Wiltshire. I am married to Andrew and have 2 children, a boy and a girl. Both my children attend local schools, but enjoy spending time with the various children who visit each day.
I am an Ofsted approved and registered childminder with over 10 years experience of working with children. I first registered in 2001 when my daughter was small and I can honestly say I have never looked back. I love working with children! There is always something new to discover each day!
We share our home with a cocker spaniel called Jasper and a cat called George. The minded children have supervised access only to the pets. This is in the children's and the pets' best interests!
As well as a fully enclosed rear garden, there is a park nearby where we often go so the children can run and play more boisterously and enjoy the fresh air. The children also love visiting the fields which are also close by and we go on interesting wellie walks to explore the great outdoors, see the cows and collect interesting flowers and plants to make a collage.
In January, I set up a Childminding Support Group at the local Children's Centre and the children enjoy going to play down at Cheeky Monkees each week. Recently, we did the Barnardo's Big Toddle and everyone had lots of fun and enjoyed a picnic lunch in the park afterwards.
